Skagit Cellars is a multi-award-winning, family-owned and operated winery located in Mount Vernon, Washington with tasting rooms in both La Conner and Manson. We started making wine in the garage as a hobby back in 2008, but for Winemaker Mark Hulst, it quickly became a passion. By 2012 Skagit Cellars began commercially producing wine. Within a year our wines began winning awards at local, national, and international wine competitions.
We select only the finest grapes from the Chelan and Columbia Valleys and use a natural process during production. The grapes harvested from each vintage should be the focal point of every bottle and as a result, our wine represents the best flavors of each variety from that year. When you enjoy Skagit Cellars wine, you can be confident that you are enjoying a quality glass of wine that is never bottled before the wine is ready. The flavors determine when we bottle, rather than “industry standards.
Antoine Creek Vineyard-100% Viognier. Aromas of tropical and stone fruits and subtle floral characteristics with flavors of papaya, citrus, and pineapple.
Four Lakes Vineyard-100% Sauvignon Blanc. Aromas of citrus, orchard fruit, and herbs with flavors of apple, grapefruit, and tangerine.
Four Lakes Vineyard-This is a stainless tank fermented Chardonnay, it has aromas of green apple, honeysuckle and citrus fruit. Enjoy the flavors of apricot, lush tropical fruit and melon with a long clean finish.
Burgess Vineyard-Barrel aged 36 months in a combination of French and American Oak, our 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon has complex aromas of black cherry and berry with subtle hints of tobacco leaves and pepper. There are flavors of ripe cherry, blackberry and raisin with a velvety tannic finish.
Antoine Creek Vineyard-Barrel aged 24 months in 100% American Oak, the 2018 Malbec has aromas of cherry, dry fruit, leather and delicious dark chocolate. There are flavors of pomegranate, black and blue berry, and a touch of white pepper with a soft lingering finish.
Four Lakes Vineyard- Barrel aged 24 months in 100% American Oak, this Syrah has layered aromas of cherry and vanilla with slight smoke and leather nuances. There are flavors of dark berries, black pepper and subtle thyme with a smooth, balanced finish.
Veranda Beach Vineyard- Barrel aged 30 months in a blend of French and American Oak, this Barbera has aromas of tobacco , raspberry and spices. The flavors of delicious berry compote, black pepper and herbs on the soft but, complex mid-palate.
Antoine Creek Vineyard- Barrel aged in 100% French oak, this Pinot Noir is medium-bodied with aromas of red fruit and spice. There are flavors of dark cherry and raspberry with subtle vanilla and herbal characteristics. It has sophisticated complexity, bright acidity with a long smooth finish.
As a wine club member, you earn firsthand access to all new and limited release wines. You are also invited to our twice yearly wine club release party where you can co-mingle with fellow wine lovers and eat your fill from our spread of hand selected delights. You also get 10% off all bottle and glass purchases, plus free tastings for you and up to three friends.
Wine club members receive two 6 bottle releases per year, generally in the spring and fall/winter where you will receive at least one bottle of each our new releases in addition to what is selected for you by our winemaker. As a rule of thumb, we generally release our whites in the spring, and our reds in the fall/winter.
